You do not need to have everything decided. Five things are enough for us to tell you whether the date is free and roughly what it will cost: the dates, including which events fall on which day; the venues, or the areas if the booking is not confirmed; rough guest numbers, because a 200 guest wedding and a 1,000 guest wedding need different crew sizes; whether you want film as well as photography; and who else is already booked, since we coordinate with planners and decorators rather than arriving cold.

If you are still comparing studios, say so. It is a useful thing for us to know and it does not change the quote. We would rather give you a number you can compare honestly than a low figure that grows once the details arrive.

Dates are held on a booking advance and not before. We do not take provisional holds on a promise, because it is unfair to the next couple asking about the same date. Nothing is charged until you have the written quote and have said yes to it.

Your details go to us and nowhere else. We do not sell enquiry data on to venues, planners or anyone else, which in this industry is worth stating plainly.
